Tom Sun former CTO of OKex, one of the world's leading crypto-asset exchange, has thrown his hat to a ring on the crypto-asset exchange market. His newly established exchange name is CoinMex.


He has been recognized as the world's top guru in digital asset trading technology. What innovation by establishing CoinMex will he have an impact on the market? I interviewed him via email for listening his aspiration for his new and grand first step.

-What is CoinMex’s Vision?

We will always think about our positive impact on the blockchain industry and become a sustainable enterprise.

-Please describe the founders' background and why did you pivot your successful career to start your business again?
▶CoinMex was founded and founded by former okex CTO Tom, and the founder has extensive experience in technology development and management of digital currency exchanges. The team is from well-known Internet companies and securities companies such as Alibaba and Baidu, and has extensive experience in operating digital asset exchanges.

According to CoinMex CEO Tom, there is much chaos in the digital asset industry. There are many pain points in the DAPP project. The digital asset trading platform plays an important role in the ecology and is the core of solving problems. CoinMex will serve the upstream and downstream of the blockchain industry chain based on the digital asset trading platform and rely on micro-innovation of products and technologies to help the industry to develop sustainably.

-How will you differentiate from existing exchanges?
▶CoinMex is a stable and long-term planning digital asset trading platform. It develops competitive products and better service projects, institutions and users from the pain points and needs of the industry to achieve its own development.

CoinMex has launched the “Joint Mining Eco-Win” program, which has turned “transaction-mining” into a marketing tool that can be customized according to demand. The project party can set the parameters of the transaction returning mining currency, the single-day bonus pool quota, the fee returning ratio and mode, and the single-day maximum mining quantity according to their own needs. The project can customize the transaction, that is, the mining game method according to the requirements, interact with the user with transparent rules, and effectively increase the number of positions, transaction volume and transaction depth of the project.

Recently, CoinMex launched an DAPP open platform. Many game and entertainment DAPPs in the blockchain field need to use the pass payment, and face payment settlement problems in the field of pulling new Internet users into the blockchain. CoinMex will rely on OTC, wallet and currency transaction basic services to provide a complete solution for the process of pass payment. CoinMex has launched the DAPP open platform and has reached strategic cooperation with several well-known DAPPs such as Tianchi to provide safe and reliable payment and transaction services for the project.

CoinMex will also launch a digital asset portfolio investment open platform, a contract-based product platform, and carry out the enterprise blockchain reform project, digital asset wallet as well as others.

-In what areas will CoinMex break through existing competition?

-How do you view the regulatory environment of digital assets and how will it respond?
▶From the progress of the industry leader Coinbase in the US, and some other countries' policies on digital assets, countries are actively exploring the regulatory framework, and in the direction of good development, the future digital asset exchange must be oriented towards regulation and development.

At the same time, the global government supports the encouragement of blockchain technology, and the popularization and development of blockchain technology is accelerating.
