Starts commercialization through overseas expansion after its new technology certification

¦¬

Michelangelo was a sculptor who was always impatient, saying that he should release the figure trapped inside the block of marble. <David>, a masterpiece expressing the beauty of the human body at the highest level, was the imprisoned David Michelangelo set free from the marble.

Devoted to developing technologies for decades with the anxiety to release the oil trapped inside a pile of discarded plastics, City Oil Field CEO Yeong Hun Jeong began his flight toward the world by fitting together the final piece of 'commercialization'. Just as Michelangelo freed <David> from the block of marble, Yeong Hun Jeong developed a technology to extract high-quality refined oil from waste plastic without causing any environmental problems. At the end of last year, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy certified the conversion technology of City Oil Field Inc. as 'new technology' as the Ministry acknowledged its perfection.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy's New Excellent Technology certification is a system to discover new technologies developed by domestic companies, research institutes, and universities and certify their excellence. The purpose is to promote the commercialization and technology trade of the newly developed technology and enhance the reliability of products using the technology to generate purchasing power, thereby laying an initial foundation for entering the market. It has the same authority of the Nobel Prize in the Korean industry.

Chairman Richard Parris to visit Korea on February 9th to introduce the technology in Northampton, England and Saskatchewan, Canada.

Richard Parris, Athan Fox and Ed Sutcliffe from the UK visited City Oil Field(¡°COF¡±) demonstration plant at the Metropolitan Landfill Site on 9th and 10th February 2022, and signed an MOU. Richard is the chairman of Parris Group and CEO of Sabien - a public listed company on the London Stock Exchange AIM market - which signed an exclusive Sales Agency Agreement earlier with COF. Dr. Fox has graduated the Chemistry Department of the University of Cambridge and he is the one who appreciates COF technology the most. The relationship between COF and Dr. Fox has been strong since the EU Gateway event where he was deeply impressed by the technology.

The relationship between COF and Dr. Fox has been strong since the EU Gateway event where he was deeply impressed by the technology.

Dr. Athan Fox who graduated the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, UK, was surprised after watching the presentation by City Oil Field at the EU Gateway event held on September 24, 2019. Since then, Dr. Fox became the best person to know and understand the technology of City Oil Field. He is the one who led the establishment of a separate research center exclusively for City Oil Field at the Melville Laboratory at Cambridge.

Dr. Fox judged that City Oil Field's technology is no longer in the demonstration stage and is ready for commercialization. He is coming to Korea on February 9, 2022, with chairman Richard Parris of the British Parris Group, to visit the City Oil Field plant facility in the Metropolitan Landfill Site Management Corporation in Seo-gu, Incheon.

Richard Parris is Chairman of the Parris Group, Inc. and Executive Chairman of Sabien Technology Group PLC, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM. City Oil Field and Sabien signed a contract for exclusive business and distributions rights in the UK. Dr. Fox and Chairman Parris' visit to Korea is to introduce City Oil Field facilities and speed up the discussions on technology transfer in more detail.

Sabien secured sites in Northampton, England, and Saskatchewan, Canada to introduce mechanical facilities from City Oil Field. The company plans to expand City Oil Field facilities to the UK and the entire European region after the first order on its two sites. With a high proportion of nuclear power generation (36%) and the conversion rate to renewable energy lagging behind other European countries such as Germany, the UK is highly interested in the development of plastic recycling technologies.

President Parris's visit to Korea this time is to confirm that City Oil Field's chemical waste plastics recycling technology is something even advanced countries such as the UK and Europe do not possess.

Problems scream but solutions whisper

Our future is closer to Armageddon or dystopia than Garden of Eden or utopia. Apart from the global level, it is high time for us to become carbon neutral in a given amount of time. At a time of imminent crisis without a clear solution, we must find another way to increase the absolute time and make a soft landing possible.

"The problem screams, but the solution whispers" is not to say that the problem does not matter. It means that the problem continues to be a problem because it stops at simply raising one and, if anything, makes it farther away from solving. There is no one-size-fits-all idea for resolving the climate change issue all at once. We should break it up into smaller pieces and start lighter.

An ambiguous solution cannot overcome the risk of industry-wide transformation to respond to the climate crisis. It should contain more specific, concrete, and practical know-how. There is no time to wait for a solution to appear. We need to find a solution. One of the few solutions worth trying is already with us.

We can introduce someone or a company trying to change a desperate situation. However, the focus should be on the change made by them, not the person or company itself, and on discussing the opportunity cost of such a change. This is why Money Today talked about City Oil Field's waste plastic reduction technology in detail in four parts since last year.
