Press and Molding Technologies for Shaping Products
DK uses its press and molding technologies to manufacture components for refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners. It also exported molds to a global automaker in North America via its subsidiary, Pistemco, which specializes in die casting.
CEO Kim Bo-gon says that "press and molding technologies are necessary in creating the shapes of products and are decisive in determining the outlines and outward appearances of products. They are also fundamental in manufacturing all kinds of components and products."
DK has been Samsung Electronics' business partner in the field of household appliances for 25 years. After doing business with it for more than two decades, DK was able to perfect its technologies and product quality and develop the 'D'ete' series.
Cost-effective D'ete Series
The D'ete series consists of air purifiers, dehumidifiers and range hoods. It boasts reasonable prices and outstanding performances, earning praise
from consumers for its cost-effectiveness.

CEO Kim Bo-gon says that DK "invested much effort in the development and design of D'ete air purifiers," and that it will "further diversify their functions and designs so that they can be used in different rooms in the households." In 2015, D'ete air purifiers received the 2015 Best Design Award from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and were certified according to China's new national standards.
In 2017, DK released the D'ete range hood featuring a cooking timer, a turn-off timer and a filter cleaning alert. The company has signed deals with large local construction companies for the installation of the range hoods in newly built apartments. "Our goal is to further diversify the range of D'ete products so that more people can use them," says CEO Kim Bo-gon.
